It's really annoying to be locked out of the module, having to delete it and recreating all the right settings again.
It usually happpends when you change your FB password, as FB says: "The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons"

So try this:
Go to MySQL and edit your #_modules database find the module of JO FB Events Pro with that name and change this part:
"access_token":"EAACGHuZBB8wcBAOOwRKaStahxjkDclZAjF7rteeLfMNsF6wTNChEKuu4vMfQg1BZCc3QACvHvgxSje3YQqKR7oObjvdpt6aoD0wZC8b6bBtz6b8ueNfzA8t9Suh6CSwhunPKOZA0fAygIm48pexZCNXYt8lKC6zFIzDoAiecFrPwZDZD",
like this:
"access_token":"",
Be careful to keep the "".
Then Go(Save).

You can now edit your Module, so refresh the module page.

When you get the Client- en Web OAuth error message. Make sure you have the correct link
https://YOURDOMAIN/administrator/index.php?option=com_modules&view=module&layout=edit&id=MODULENR
within the FaceBook Login Settings
developers.facebook.com/apps/YOURAPPNR/fb-login/settings/
Press save

NOTE: If you get a FB error with Login to Facebook button, always Save & Close module, then reopen.

If you still have an error:
Go To developers.facebook.com/apps/YOURAPPNR/settings/basic/
Remove all domains from the Field 'App Domains'.

Still getting error
- Disable FB App, save.
- Save module, open module, press Login with FaceBook
- When connected, make App public again.

List not displaying
- set JO module settings: Select your FB page and set Load events from Facebook: Group Page

FB page missing, not in Select Events list
- Find the ID here findmyfbid.com or lookup-id.com
- Set Load events from Facebook: Group Page

If you keep getting this error: Invalid Scopes: user_managed_groups
preventing the token to be loaded.

Replace the loginfb.php file with this one:

File Attachment:

File Name: h50ca1a6.zip
File Size: 3 KB

Located at: Domain/modules/mod_jo_facebookevents_pro/elements

It will solve the error message and load the FB Access Token.
For some reason FB doens't grab the token with this error. (FB bug).

First save & close the module before hitting the button: Login with Facebook

Would it be possible to provide the new version through de download page? Seems more logical.
