Hello,
I've just installed JO facebook events pro on a Joomla 3.8.3 site (running PHP 5.3.29 and MySQL 5.5.52) and receive this error when trying to open the module in Module Manager:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ')' in /public_html/modules/mod_jo_facebookevents_pro/elements/loginfb.php on line 48

There were no installation errors reported. So there is no way to open and configure the module.

I'd appreciate some assistance please.

Hello Campbell
Please help me updated to PHP version > 5.4 and help me check it again. Problem because new Facebook API only support php have version >5.4
