Joomla Free extensions

After installing and activating the plugin I cannot get it to work iside a text box field in zoo.
When I user {josociallocker} Content {/josociallocker} I get "{josociallocker} Content {/josociallocker}" printed in the html output.
What am I missing?

I know I did the right setup because I have it working on a test site.

I have tried everything on the live site to get josocial to work. I have disabled all plugins and tested josocial with different templates to see if their was a conflict, but it's still not working. I made it so josocial was the only thing on the page, and it still doesn't work. The only thing different from my test site is that I have a newer version of zoo which is 3.2.2

as far as I can tell the problem is with the josocial plugin needing an update and not my site.
