Trying for 2 days to set up module.

I followed directions to create app in FB. That seems to be complete.
I try to set up module in Joomla and get as far as saving module with App ID and Secret.
Then I try to log into facebook and I get an insecure login blocked error message that says to reload with https.
Reloading that page with https gets me the same page error.
I've also tried to enter the Access Token number into the module setup, and it locks up the module permanently with a "190 Invalid OAuth Access Token" error.

I give up. Need help.
