Joomla Free extensions

Time for another question. Is there perhaps a way to limit the number of past events that are shown in the module? The option in the module settings only applies to upcoming events. If there's no easy way of doing it in the code, is this a feature that will be available at some point?

Never mind. I figured it out!

Hmm, it worked for a bit but now the events are gone. No errors or anything. Just gone. Even if I restore to the files to default.
